“to Die for” John, Cambus
DID YOU KNOW
Chocolate is considered an aphrodisiac.
It’s said that eating chocolate releases several neurotransmitters that have
positive effects on human feelings (that is, they make people happy). One
of these is phenylethlyamine, which causes alertness and a degree of
excitement, quickens the pulse rate, and makes you happy.
Phenylethylamine is sometimes called “the love drug” as it arouses
feelings similar to those that occur when you’re in love. Another
neurotransmitter, serotonin, is known as a mood-lifter. A chemical that
causes the release of serotonin into the brain is tryptophan and guess
what it’s found in chocolate
More recently chocolate has been in the news as beneficial for lowering
blood pressure. Evidence suggests that a small amount of dark chocolate
eaten each day can assist in heart health.
Good Bye
It’s with sadness that my journey as bbchocolatecom has come to an end.
It was always my hobby and then retirement business and never planned to
be an empire. I always said I did it for the enjoyment, and I did.
Age, rising costs and the fact that I
have many other enjoyments in my life
meant that the hard decision to cease
the business was taken. Yes I’ll still be
making chocolates, as a home
chocolatier for friends and family.
I wish many thanks to all my
customers over the many years I
made and supplied chocolates.
“Thank you for the most amazing

just enjoying our own personal box on
our mini moon ”
